Grace Hebert Curtis Architects Get New Downtown Address

On Thursday evening Grace Hebert Curtis Architects opened the doors on their new office space with a grand opening reception. The firm was formerly housed at 651 Poydras Street and has moved across the street to 601 Poydras to accommodate expansion. As their lease was ending, they began looking for space that could better accommodate their companywide growth.

Andrea Bowman, an architect with the firm and the New Orleans Office Leader, cast a wide net when looking for their new space. However, they found that the Downtown area was priced very competitively and was just as financially attractive, if not more so, than surrounding areas.

Having office space Downtown is a good match in other ways as well. In discussing the move, Bowman said, “Downtown has a bustling urban atmosphere that matches our fast-paced company culture.” The accessibility, easy access to local clients, and walkability to nearby amenities were also very attractive.

Bowman added, “We’re excited to be a part of the action and witness the evolution of the City’s progress through construction projects all around us.”
