St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church - Ministry Building
The second phase of the St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church master plan focused on the Ministry Building. This phase established a two-story structure nearly four times the size of its predecessor with entry access from the existing church and school campus on the first floor as well as access from Highland Road on the second floor. In order to tie into the recently renovated church plaza and create a more inviting environment, the existing concrete drive and parking lot were replaced with pervious pavers which can also act as a parking lot.
The project was completed just before Christmas in 2015 and served as a wonderful gift to the growing congregation.
Project Size: 16,000 sq. ft.
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Completed: 2015
State-of-the-art Spaces
Where the previous building offered only four conference rooms, the new structure features seven state-of-the-art spaces and built-in storage for the church’s various ministries and organizations.
Designing Dozens Of Meeting Rooms
The second-floor houses more than a dozen church offices and meeting spaces as well as a nursery and children’s liturgy area to provide care for young parishioners during Sunday mass.
