Firestone & Robertson Distillery
Firestone & Robertson Distillery was designed as a light-industrial craft distillery and public destination, situated on the 108-acre site of the former Glen Gardens Golf and Country Club. The project layout strategically separated the industrial functions to the south from the hospitality and administration areas to the north, connected by a central courtyard and outdoor event space.
The industrial portion of the development included a two-story, Stillhouse and Barrel Filling facility, which housed essential process equipment for the production of distilled spirits. This facility also featured a barrel filling area, production office space, and employee support areas, along with central support services for the entire site (MEP, Fire Protection). Portions of the Stillhouse were designated for public display, supporting daily tours and hospitality events.
This project was a collaboration with Tryba Architects, emphasizing both the operational efficiency and public engagement of the distillery.
Project Size: 23,480 square feet
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Completed: 2017
