The Citizens Rural Health Hospital expansion provides a transformative upgrade to the existing rural hospital, designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the surrounding community. This thoughtfully planned addition includes a cutting-edge emergency department equipped with eight treatment rooms and two trauma rooms, ensuring prompt and effective care for patients during critical moments. A new outpatient public entry will enhance accessibility and streamline patient flow, creating a welcoming and efficient experience for visitors.

The imaging department will undergo significant upgrades, highlighted by the installation of a new state-of-the-art MRI machine. Existing imaging services, including CT, nuclear medicine, X-ray, ultrasound, and echocardiogram rooms, were strategically relocated within the facility to improve accessibility, workflow, and patient comfort. Additionally, a new four-bed ICU department will offer advanced critical care capabilities to support patients requiring intensive medical attention.
