Throughout the facility, thoughtful design choices enhance both functionality and ambiance. Warm, wood-look LVT flooring and calming wall colors create a comfortable atmosphere, with a large oval ceiling feature and three LED pendant light rings providing a focal point and inviting atmosphere in the waiting room. The exam rooms are equipped with hardwearing wood-look plastic laminate cabinets, solid surface countertops, and soothing accent colors, promoting a calming atmosphere that reduces stress and anxiety. Treatment rooms echo this design but include seamless sheet vinyl flooring with integral bases for enhanced cleanability. Staff work areas, private offices, and break spaces are designed for comfort and relaxation, promoting wellness for the care team.
LED lighting throughout the facility ensures a bright, welcoming environment that enhances visibility and promotes positivity. Furniture upholstered in durable, healthcare-grade fabrics compliments the soothing color palette, offering both comfort and longevity. Carefully selected artwork reflects the local rural environment while enhancing the interior design with its cohesive color scheme. This expansion reflects a commitment to elevating healthcare standards, providing the community with modern, patient-centered facilities that support comprehensive care.

Design Meets Function
The reception desk and nurse stations were thoughtfully designed to be both visually appealing and functional. Glass mosaic tiles and stone-look solid surface surrounds, offer a perfect blend of durability and elegance that enhance the aesthetic appeal of these key areas.
Pediatric Friendly Design
Within the Citizens Rural Health Clinic, the Pediatric Clinic provides a welcoming, engaging environment for pediatric patients and their families. Upon entering, colorful sea creatures greet visitors in the waiting area, offering an immediate sense of comfort and playfulness. Wave patterns on the floors and ceilings guide visitors toward the Reception Desk, which resembles a ship on the ocean, complete with a decorative anchor and portals, setting the tone for a fun, nautical experience. A blue wave divider wall, featuring digital fish tanks on either side, offers positive distractions for children as they wait, while large backlit portals throughout the space immerse them in an underwater world filled with schools of fish, friendly dolphins, and other sea creatures.
Tranquil Aquatic Theme
Each of the four exam rooms is uniquely designed with thematic wall graphics and small backlit portals on the ceiling displaying ocean life, further enhancing the aquatic atmosphere. Blue sheet vinyl flooring with bubble designs and durable solid-surface countertops in shades of blue and green reinforce the calming, sea-inspired environment. Custom “under the sea” graphic wall coverings continue the theme into the corridors, creating a cohesive experience that carries through the entire clinic. These design elements help transform the clinical setting into a more enjoyable space, making it feel less intimidating for young patients. Furniture throughout the clinic is carefully chosen to complement the sea theme, upholstered in durable, healthcare-grade fabrics that combine functionality with style. With its thoughtful design and attention to detail, the clinic fosters a comforting and joyful environment, turning what could be a clinical experience into a soothing, child-friendly space for patients, families, and staff alike.
