TWU Student Union at Hubbard Hall
Hubbard Hall at Texas Woman’s University was built in the 1940s as the dining facility for the campus. It was repurposed in the 1970s to accommodate conference services on campus. However, since that time, the student population of the University tripled, and Hubbard Hall was identified as the most appropriate building on campus to convert to a Student Union. The expanded and renovated Hubbard Hall houses a “new” Student Union with food service, conference meeting rooms, retail, recreation/lounge space, student organizations and academic/administrative support services. This project was in collaboration with CannonDesign.
