Riverdale High School Renovation
Originally built in 1972, Riverdale High School is one of the oldest schools in Lee County. Working close with District and school staff, GHC addressed the school’s specific needs and priorities. A new Gymnasium building and Science Building were designed to make Riverdale equitable with the School District’s current standards. This also included the remodeling of the existing school facilities to provide 2,336 permanent student stations. Improvements to the existing campus enhanced security and upgraded the kitchen and dining facilities. Receiving upgrades to its mechanical, electrical, and technology systems, the school will enhance its overall functionality and efficiency. Additionally, the site has been redesigned to improve traffic flow within the campus and address safety concerns on the main access road to the school.
