River Parishes Community College

Grace Hebert Curtis Architects’ work on the River Parishes Community College project included designing new buildings as well as site and landscaping development. The project created a new home for numerous college departments, offices and learning environments, including Campus Administration, Student Services, Financial Aid, Arts, Sciences, Education/Teaching, General Studies, faculty offices and the library.

The brick structure communicates its academic mission with a classically designed facade featuring prominent Georgian-style windows and dormers that illuminate the interior spaces. Inside, the building offers flexible furnishings and modern finishes that enhance programs such as business technology, instrumental technology, welding technology and practical nursing.

Project Size: 82,028 square feet

Location: Gonzales, LA

Completed: 2014
