Great Hearts Harveston

Great Hearts – Harveston has a classical approach to education, rooted in real and meaningful content that traces its sources through the peaks and pitfalls of the Western tradition. Students learn about historical events, literary characters, stories, poetry, scientific facts, and mathematical proofs. This philosophy inspired the classical architectural elements on the exterior of the building and also influenced the planning so that the learning stair and library serve as the heart of the campus.

This innovative public charter school is developed in a meticulously planned two-phase approach, with Phase 1 marking the initial chapter of this educational journey. This phase introduces a sprawling, two-level building designed to cater to students from kindergarten through seventh grade, resulting in a thoughtfully designed facility that promises to nurture young minds in a stimulating environment.

Within the building, students are greeted with generously sized classrooms, specialized spaces for art and music instruction, a spacious multipurpose room (MPR), and a fully equipped gymnasium boasting a competition-level basketball court. There is also a stage that serves as the epicenter for school assemblies and performances, fostering a strong sense of community and creativity. An outdoor covered terrace adds an element of nature and the outdoors to the school's offerings, creating a space where students can unwind and engage with the environment.

The thoughtfully designed facility provides students with the ideal setting to cultivate their intellectual curiosity and embrace their journey of growth and education. The grandeur and meticulous planning of Phase 1 foreshadow an exciting future for the school, promising a rich tapestry of experiences and knowledge for the young learners and educators who call Great Hearts – Harveston their educational home.
