An extensive renovation program allowed the re-imagination of the original facility, formerly the Harborside Convention Center. Adjacent to the Luminary Hotel, the 73,000 SF convention center was fully updated in a coordinated effort to continue improving the downtown River District.

Working with the City of Fort Myers and Mainsail Lodging & Development, GHC provided design services, resulting in beautiful updates and upgrades. New elements included all new exterior windows, new upgraded lighting, and all new interior finishes designed by L2 Design. Spaces throughout the venue were updated to improve accessibility and allow for more flexible and transformable spaces. The second floor was converted to administrative offices.
