The newly designed library is a major community asset not only by its function but by becoming a civic destination for multiple purposes. It includes technologies for patron of all ages, indoor and outdoor meeting spaces with conference rooms for larger community needs. Located in the Bonita Springs Historic area, the 2-story library is approximately 31,000 SF.

During the initial planning stages BSSW worked closely with library and County Staff in leading numerous community involvement/input sessions by conducting surveys and leading focus groups with community members. The library has been designed to address the needs of Adult, Teen and Youth users. Computer access, meeting spaces, outdoor spaces, and community rooms allow patrons to work independently in inviting environment or in groups.
