Building a strong foundation for the future
We take pride in providing architectural support and assistance to help communities regain their full strength and resilience.
As a trusted partner in disaster recovery, GHC is well-equipped to navigate the complex requirements of FEMA and other government agencies. We understand the importance of complying with FEMA’s regulations and can work with you to ensure that your project meets all of the necessary requirements. Our portfolio contains projects that have required detailed information to be provided to GOSHEP and FEMA with 100% of the funding coming from Federal Public Assistance.
Over the past 18 years, GHC has successfully completed over $550 million in FEMA-funded projects. We have designed numerous facilities in full compliance with FEMA standards and have extensive experience with FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. GHC maintains a comprehensive library of FEMA documents, including resources from the FEMA Building Science Branch on floodproofing and wind-loading building foundations. In alignment with these Grant Programs, our building designs consistently follow FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation goals. Additionally, we have completed projects using CDBG funding, working closely with local officials and community leaders to provide on-the-ground evaluations and architectural assistance.
