Private Inpatient Rehab Facility in the Texas Hill Country Architectural Style
Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital is a 40-bed private inpatient rehabilitation facility located in the Westover Hills district of San Antonio, Texas. The Warm Springs’ mission is to serve people living with disabilities by providing compassionate, expert care during the rehabilitation process and to prevent disabilities through education and research.
The overall design of this 50,000-square-foot facility draws on the Texas Hill Country architectural style, which is more rustic and simpler in nature. By incorporating locally-available limestone as well as unique carpentry and masonry features, this facility’s style has a modern elegance that draws from the simplicity of its materials and detailed construction.
The rehabilitation hospital contains both inpatient and outpatient therapy gyms, a hydrotherapy pool, and outdoor therapy areas. Other departments include imaging, administration, emergency, lab, pharmacy, dietary, and other support spaces.
