Kathy Trahan President Alliance Safety Council

The non-profit organization improves safety in the workplace, community and the home. The new building is a state-of-the-art training center with modern workspaces that features multiple training labs, technology enhanced classrooms, a member media library, a community child car-seat inspection and fitting station, and new labs where the safety organization can continue to design and develop innovative web-based learning courses. This impressive 32,500-sq. ft. office and training facility instructs as many as 7,000 students per month.

Using a combination of curvilinear forms, vertical elements and materials, the building's presence is second to none on the local Interstate corridor. The combination of forms, materials and visibility has helped engage the community in the organization’s mission of making this world a safer place.

Creating state-of-the-art training rooms was only the beginning. Resultant spaces for gathering, impromptu to meetings, or just relaxing and conversation truly provide for a secondary layer of learning between the users of the building.
